The madness of it all

So I got softly banned from twitter today for 12 hours. Upside is that I now have time to write! What happened?

Someone asked the question, as many do, ask questions that is, “what would you do if nuclear war were to break out?”

Now here's the thing, I'm stoically sarcastic, self deprecating. I'm not the most serious person socially. Especially on social media because I know nothing of how it works and don't care to learn(see previous posts) So she asked the question and I, the glory seeking hog that I am, answered "just die"

Twitter gets mad and even!

Immediately I'm banned for violating terms. "threatening others or inciting others to violence"

Now maybe I should have added "I would" or "probably" then the robots watching us would give me a pass and I'd be wasting my morning there instead of writing this. Because it doesn't matter what I say or you say, 99% of the garbage we spew on social media gets washed away in an ocean of data. No one cares unless you're famous or Elon musk. But we need it because drugs are too expensive, working out is too hard and I already know the odds for the lotto. We need to see that little notification badge appear because it means we've been seen, heard and acknowledged, at least I do. Sometimes that feels impossible to achieve in the real world. This AI needs to be updated for context and sarcasm. I'm all for the freedom of speech but people shouldn't be dragged, harassed or abused and if so the should be given tools to help stop it from happening You should have the right to free speech just not necessarily "at" someone. But what happened to me is a clear case of robots gone mad. And perhaps society as well? No, no one person pulled the trigger the other algorithm that I don't want to get noticed by did and its timing couldn't have been worse.

There was a rapport of sorts building with those following me. Real👏human👏interaction👏

Or at least AI so good I couldn't tell Now it's all gone for 12 long hours. I've been cast out of this bowl of society flakes back to reality.

In some ways good in some ways bad.

So what's next, do I return and censor myself? Think very carefully about every tweet I'm about to make like I do with this blog(sort of not really). Do I now ask myself 'could this possibly offend anyone?' 'will someone be hurt by my tweet?' No. I'll keep asking dumb questions and giving sarcastic answers and promoting me! Because everything is in service of myself and getting paid to not grind myself down at my real job. So if I'm "too hot" for twitter I'll just post on other platforms or make new accounts and just keep the train rolling!

Maybe Elon should have bought Twitter and shut it down for all our benefit.

Have you ever been banned?

I write about everything. I care not for your formatting or follower secretes. Will I succeed? Why don't you follow me and find out?
